GBWR and RGK announce new Partnership as Official Wheelchair Partner

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is proud to announce a new partnership with RGK Wheelchairs, who join as the sport’s Official Wheelchair Partner and the latest organisation to become part of GBWR’s 28 for 28 programme, a strategic initiative designed to build inclusive partnerships and elevate disability sport in the lead-up to the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.

UK’s leading manufacturer of bespoke sports wheelchairs

The collaboration will see RGK, the UK’s leading manufacturer of bespoke sports wheelchairs work closely with GBWR to provide wheelchair rugby chairs that will be designed to improve performance and support the community from grassroots to the GB team. As part of the partnership, RGK will provide technical support and member discounts to GBWR clubs and athletes, alongside co-creating athlete-led content and engagement initiatives.

Building Performance and Inclusion

The partnership strengthens both organisations’ commitment to performance excellence and disability inclusion. Through shared innovation and athlete feedback, RGK and GBWR will co-develop new approaches to rugby chair design and will continue to improve accessibility and performance standards across the sport by having a presence at GBWR tournaments.
